6’8 Russell Woods (Class of 2013) has gained his reputation as a long, lefty defender and rebounder for Chicago’s Leo Catholic High School.
But this past month, he’s broken-out offensively with repeated games of over 20 points with 10 rebounds like the 3 we caught against Hales (defending 2A state champs), Curie (#2 in Chicago featuring 6’9 star Cliff Alexander) and North Lawndale (member Red West-Chicago’s toughest division).
