Chicago Simeon (19-14) narrowly defeated Brother Rice in the Regional Finals last week. Next the Wolverines faced Marian Catholic (27-5) from suburban Chicago Heights led by junior PG
Ahron Ulis (brother of former Kentucky star Tyler Ulis) in the Class 4A Eisenhower Sectional semifinals.

Simeon pounced early. Unsigned seniors Antonio Reeves and Kejuan Clements continued their hot streak but Ulis kept Marian around, scoring 13 of his team’s 21 first half points.

Unsigned senior Clements led the Wolverines with 15 points, 5 steals, 5 assists and Ahamad Bynum and Antonio Reeves each scored 11.

Chris White finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Marian Catholic. Junior guards Joe Green (16 points, 8 rebounds) and Ahron Ulis (15 points, 7 assists) led the Spartans.
