6’9 Senior star Steve Taylor lead his Simeon Wolverines team (Chicago Public League: Red South) to their best record in school history (33-1) and their third consecutive Class 4A state championship as he averaged 19 points, and 9 rebounds per game.
Taylor was considered by many if not most experts to be the top senior in the state of Illinois (2012).
Next year, Steve Taylor will be taking his talents to the Big East, where he will be a Marquette Golden Eagle under Coach Buzz Williams in Milwaukee, WI.
