Yesterday's impressive Summer League debut of Andrew Wiggins didn't make as much noise in Cleveland as it would have on just about any other day because most Cavs fans (and just about everybody who watches sports) were busy buzzing about his new teammate LeBron James and the rumors that Wiggins would be on his way out to Minnesota in a deal for Kevin Love. The Cavs then let it be known that Wiggins was not going anywhere....same can't be said for the Cavs' last #1 pick Anthony Bennett - who also looked pretty good yesterday.
From the looks of the packed gym in Vegas, you would of thought that you were watching some type of All-Star game but the lack of empty seats were because of the match-up between #1 pick Andrew Wiggins and the Bucks' #2 pick Jabari Parker. Both were impressive. Wiggins scored 18 points on 7 of 18 shooting and contributed 3 boards, a steal, a block and some above the rim action. Parker had 1 less point than Wiggins but was 5 of 11 from the floor and had 9 rebounds. The only knocks on Parker was he looked a little lost on defense and did turn the ball over 4 times in 30 minutes.
