Congrats to Alex "Superman" Johnson and Brey Dorestt, not just because the two hoopers got engaged but because their 'Love & Basketball' inspired proposal was easily the best basketball proposal I've ever seen.

While playing 1-on-1 against his girlfriend "Breyschoice," Superman faked an injury and hit the ground just so he could get up by getting on 1 knee and taking Brey's hand to propose to her.  Yeah that put my proposal to shame and in my opinion tops this viral proposal that happened at a Bulls game a couple of years ago.

WHO IS SUPERMAN

So who is Superman Johnson?  Alex is a NC State graduate who first made news on Ballislife when he became the first Canadian to ever be drafted with the first pick in the NBL draft. In his first season, he was an All-Star and helped lead his team to the playoffs.  Late last year, he signed with the Saint John Mill Rats - a team that made some news last season when they signed Ballislife All-American Aquille Carr.
