Chicago Curie was the preseason #8 team in the Chicago area according to the Sun Times. They came into this game 15-1, undefeated in-state, recently winning Pontiac Holiday tournament. Chicago Bogan is considered one of the toughest if not Chicago's single toughest gym to play in.
It's dark, packed, hot, and loud at all times. Bogan came in #2 in Chicago area (15-1) off winning Proviso West Holiday tournament.
Curie is led by Kansas State commit DaJuan Gordon a super athletic guard. Bogan is very deep with guards like Tiger Booker and Jeremiah Washington but is led by big senior Rashaun Agee who is dominating Chicago competition right now. A double double machine who set records at Proviso West.
#1 vs #2!
In the end, Agee got into foul trouble which limited his game. Bogan turned the ball over 15 times in just the first half.
Curie knocked down more jump shots and they pulled away.
Final score Curie 78-Bogan 70.
