I've seen plenty of people shoot the ball and the ball ended up getting stuck in between the rim and the backboard but this is just the 2nd time I've seen it happen from a dunk attempt.  The first time came courtesy of Josh Powell in the CBA.

Unfortunately for most of us that have had our shot get stuck, we didn't have Powell or DeAndre Jordan's height and hops to easily get the ball down.  We relied on throwing other balls, finding sticks or using our rim touching hops to tap the ball out.

These kids could have used DJ.
