DJ Steward recently committed to play college basketball at Duke. Whitney Young is the preseason #3 team in the Chicago area (behind Bloom and Morgan Park).

After narrowly losing to Morgan Park opening night, the Dolphins opened their conference schedule on the road at Farragut. The game was a BATTLE but Whitney Young escaped with the win, moving to 1-1. No stats available at this time but uncommitted senior Tyler Beard played well for Young.
