The defending champions roared back to life this week. With the return of Travis and D’Mitrik Trice, they defeated Reitano SportsCenter handily. The three headed monster of JD Weatherspoon (24pts), Travis Trice (22pts) and Xeyrius Williams (15pts) exploded in the second half stretching a 7-point lead to a cruising 24-point win. Reitano SportsCenter was led by Tre Baumgartner with 18 points. Both teams are now 1-1.

Bexley Car Care vs. Buckeye Prep

Buckeye Prep: 81

Bexley Car Care brought out their big guns this week. Kaleb and Andre Wesson as well as Marlon Moore made their debut to the Kingdom League. Andre Wesson led Bexley in scoring with 15 points. It was a tightly contested game. Buckeye Prep was led by two players making their debuts at the Kingdom as well Terry Durham (26 pts) and Wendell Davis (20pts) but they could not overcome the balanced scoring of the Bexley Car Care team. Both teams entered the contest 0-1. Bexley moves to 1-1 while Buckeye Prep falls to 0-2.

McGlade Max Pro vs. Hype 614

Hype 614:  96

In what was scheduled as The Game of The Week. McGlade Max Pro remained undefeated as they outscored Hype 614 by 5 points. Max Pro was led by the sharp shooting of Scott Thomas (28 pts) and Ron Lewis (16 pts) while Brett McKnight was a force inside with 19 points. Hype 614 was led by the Xavier Musketeer bad boy Desmond Claude with 26 points. Nate Barnes made his season debut by scoring 22 pts for Hype 614. Both teams entered the contest undefeated. Max Pro moves to 2-0 while Hype 614 falls to 1-1.

4DEEP vs. Future

Game Summary

4DEEP: 96
Future: 78

4DEEP continues to look like a well-oiled machine. Morgan Safford of Miami University made a splash in his season debut scoring a team high 25 pts. Lamine Komara provided a supporting 24 points. Future was led by Dishon Daniels with 16 points. After a close first quarter 4DEEP extended a 4 point lead to a 57-43 halftime lead and never looked back. 4DEEP improves to 2-0 while Future falls to 0-2.
