Ignore whatever the Nike+ app says LeBron’s vert is at the beginning of this video because the app was a joke. The short-lived product was telling pro dunkers with 40 to 45-inch verts they had 55-inch verts. 55!
According to the NBA draft combine, the King’s vert is or was 44 inches, which is still extremely impressive and good enough for top 10 ever at the combine and good enough to help him make a lot of posters in the NBA. It was also good enough to help him make this ridiculous catch.
