Two of the biggest scene stealers in recent Adam Sandler comedies, Shaquille O’Neal and Terry Crews, gave Houstonians at Sunday’s Cheez-It Munch Mania Celeb game some big laughs. Crews looked as awful on the court as his body does amazing for a 47 year old. He missed his first 9 or 10 field goals before burying a 3-pointer that put the crowd into a frenzy as Crews took off his jersey and did his trademark pec flexing. Shaq – coach of the winning white team – also put the crowd into a frenzy when he snuck in the game and threw down a dunk with the 240lb+ Crews on his back. Shaq celebrated by doing his trademark Shaq walk before staring down the grounded Crews.
Shaq also snuck in to attempt a 3-pointer…and another 3…and another 3 late in the game. As expected, all 3 were off.
Two players on Shaq’s team who had no issue hitting their shots from downtown was Thunder Dan Majerle and 2KTV’s Rachel DeMita. Thunder Dan gave the old school fans in the audience flashbacks of deep game-winning 3s during his Phoenix Suns days while Rachel knocked down 4 from deep and ended up with a MVP worthy 22 points.
The losing team, coached by the great Hakeem the Dream, was led by former rookie of the year Damon “Mighty Mouse” Stoudamire.
