Shareef O’neal had one of the best games in his young but celebrated career. The son of Shaq has come into his own lately. In this game he faced fellow top southern california (san diego) prospect in Taeshon Cherry. Shareef turned it up a notch in the second half by essentially taking over with an array of perimeter shooting and inside scoring. He even had the game tying dunk to send the game into Overtime at the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic. Shareef finished with a game high of 30 points with many of those coming in the second half. Cherry finished with 18 points while teammate Derrick Carter Hollinger finished with 17.
