Dwyane Wade grew up in Robbins, IL near Chicago, attending Richards High School in nearby Oak Lawn. After starring for the Miami Heat for 13 season, Wade returned home joining the Chicago Bulls starting in the 2016-17 season.
His son Zaire Wade and nephew Dahveon Morris attended Mt. Carmel, a respected Catholic School on Chicago's South Side. Both played on the school's Freshman team and went under the radar for the most part (with no media covering games).
Zaire Wade's freshman teammates shared balanced minutes and balanced scoring while playing a very competitive schedule. Zaire and cousin Dahveon stood out among their teammates due to their guard/passing skills and athleticism.
Check out these highlights from Zaire Wade and Dahveon Morris playing for Mt Carmel's 2016-2017 freshman basketball team in and around Chicago!
