6’9 Austin Nichols led his M33M 17U team to the Final Four of the Best Buy Chicago Classic. A very fundamentally sound player with impressive athleticism, you’ll see he runs the floor extremely well.
In the fall, Nichols will be a senior at Briarcrest Christian (Memphis, TN). The TSSAA's Division 2-AA Mr. Basketball as a junior last season, he averaged 18.1 points and 9.5 rebounds, shooting a Memphis-area-best 67.1 percent from the floor.
Nichols (power forward) holds offers from North Carolina, Memphis, Duke, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Vanderbilt, and Texas among others.
