Jaylen Hands put on a show in his first 2 games at the Torrey Pines UA Holiday Classic. In his team took on St Augustine with Taeshon Cherry. Hands had 35 points in a close game loss to best Taeshon's 29. In one instance, Cherry had a one handed fast break dunk. Hands got the ball on the very next possession and killed a slingshot one hand dunk at the other end and stared down Cherry almost as if to say, this is my time.

In the second game vs Calvert Hall, Hands had 33 points and helped steer his team to victory 79-63. In another instance, Hands took off from the baseline to throw down a vicious 1-hand dunk in which the defender couldn't do more than just stand still in awe as hands jumped over him.
